New Era | Alternative Investments created a self-sustainable agribusiness plan aiming to improve food security in Burkina Faso by designing a prospective farming center that would 1) provide both agricultural education and training to the local community, 2) create jobs, and 3) generate 3 sources of profits.
We pitched our model in 2012 in the HULT Prize, which is sponsored by Bill Clinton's foundation, the Clinton Global Initiative. Our agribusiness model finished 2nd runner-up in Europe.
